Overeaters Anonymous is a self-supporting fellowship. We rely entirely on voluntary contributions from our members to carry the message of recovery to those still suffering from compulsive eating. Why Give? Your contributions help OA remain autonomous and focused solely on recovery. Because we accept no outside contributions, your support funds meetings, literature, service bodies, and outreach efforts that connect individuals to the OA program. “We are self-supporting through our own contributions.” — OA’s Seventh Tradition Secure and Simple Giving You can contribute at local meetings or online through your Intergroup, Region, or the World Service Office (WSO). Online contribution are processed through Stripe, a trusted global payment platform with advanced security. Stripe employs a multi-layered encryption approach to protect your financial data. For in-person contributions via Stripe Terminal, end-to-end encryption (E2EE) is used by default. Payment card and bank account details are encrypted with AES-256, an industry-standard encryption protocol, and stored in a separate, highly restricted data vault. In addition, TLS (Transport Layer Security) is used to encrypt all data in transit between your browser and Stripe’s servers. No gift is too small. Every contribution is a vital act of service that helps carry the message of recovery to those who need it most.
